Hi Folks,
How do you display your Christmas Cards? I usually attach sellotape to the wall sticky side out, then stick the cards on, but this year I'm using ribbons.
Just looking for new ideas
Anne :-)

Hi Anne,
We have a long piece of ribbon strung under the picture rail, attatched with a few drawing pins, then the cards slip over the ribbon.

Bits of thread attached vertically to the wall with drawing pins and then paper clips holding the cards on. And the horizontal cards we hang over thread looped over the top of doorways :)
Hi Anne
A little while ago I saw a really neat device in one of those little catalogues that come through the door at this time of year.
It was like a sort of big curved toast rack with slots for sticking the cards in. It looked as if it would fit nicely on a mantlepiece or sideboard. I really wished I had ordered it but I thought I would be able to find something similar in the shops - unfortunately I haven't !
If anyone here knows where you can buy them I'd really appreciate it :)

We did use blu tack untill it left little greasy splodges on the walls :(
this year I'm at a bit of a loss -we've not long since decorated and I don't really want to be sticking stuff in the wall and I'm running out of window ledges -so short of hanging them from the ceiling- I don't really know !!!:)

I have two very long pieces of pretty ribbon that I hang down , either side of the fireplace and I staple the cards to them

We have a hook in each corner of the lounge ceiling for plants/ornaments, etc. We run a piece of florists wire between the two hooks on each short wall and clip the cards to the wire.

We have a low wooden ceiling with rafters, so we use drawing pins to sling long pieces of raffia from one side of the room to the other, then slip the cards over the raffia. If more cards arrive, just add another bit of raffia. :D
Doesn't work with e-mailed cards, though :(

Does if you print them off Snorri ;)

We've got beams on the sitting room ceiling - so we just use drawing pins (makes it look like more woodworm :-) )!

Oh yes, the authentic motif
Anne :-)
