For those of you out there who organise shows, do you have any luck finding sponsorship. All I am trying to find is a dog food company who will provide maybe a 15kg sack of food for BIS, BPIS & BVIS. Any ideas?

Royal Canin are EXCELLENT for show sponsorship.

Royal Canin gives excellent sponsorship to the Northern Belgian Shepherd Dog Club. At their champ.show (146 dogs entered)  a couple of weeks ago all class winners received a 4 kg bag of food and the main winners (BOBs, BIS etc) got 15 kgs. They've done this for several years now. I came home with 8 kgs of food myself. :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, got really excited about the RC link until I scrolled down and see that they like a link on the clubs website. Unfortunately that is not a possibility as the working side of our club is sponsored heavily by a company who insist on being the only website link. Can't have it all ways I suppose. Don't really want to use the same company as it is a brand more associated with working dogs

I have found Fish4dogs really helpful in the past (I have a direct e mail address if this helps - pm me if required)

Tried Fish4dogs today, doesn't look too promising but I have emailed a request to them and will have a word at Blackpool

It may be worth approaching an up and coming company who don't do too much yet but might appreciate the promotion...

Challenge might be a good idea and I think there is a new raw feeding company - can't remember the name...  is it Darling something?

Not necessarily a new company but Naturediet is another food that seems to get talked about, and recommended, more and more.  They had some great deals at Crufts and might be keen to extend their reach a bit

Good luck

How about either Arden Grange or Orijen?

Don't know what they are like now but Burns used to be quite generous to our exemption show, Big bags and loads of samples.

Just a thought, but do you have a large local agricultural store close by?They may be happy to sponsor you for some publicity.

Burns have just stopped sponsorship of canix and it appears they are no longer sponsoring many tears.

The ones i've mentioned have sponsored shows and i think still are. One quick call to both of them should give you an answer.. :-)
