Hi all just wanted to share my news with you.  I went to our Regional Retriever Breeders Club show yesterday with my two girls Ellie (mum) and Megan (daughter, 13 months) and Megan's brother Tindel, who I show for a friend.  Tindel had won all three of his classes so far this year so we were hopeful, Megan although looking beautiful had so far missed out on a 1st!  Tindel was first in the ring in the Young Male class and showed me up terribly, partly my fault as he is usually so well behaved I was taken by surprise, he refused to stand nicely and jumped and pulled his way around the ring, he was placed 4th - classed tres bon (very good).  Ellie was up next and behaved beautifully and was placed 3rd Excellent in a nice class!  Then Megan was in against her sister and one other, she was a little excitable but with a little advice from the judge on handling she calmed down and she won!!!  Placed 1st Excellent and her sister was 2nd!  She then beat the male for best young Golden and then went Best Young Dog in Show beating the other retrievers.  I am so proud of them especially Megan who has promised so much, these pups were from my first homebred litter so I'm over the moon with them.
