my 3 year old bitch went into labor yesterday morning stayed up all night with her and 2 nd stage of labor did not begin untill about 11 am this morning at 1 pm she delivered 1 puppy which was breech since then no more bleeding no more contractions and obviously no more pups which I find strange her last litter she had 9
she still wants me near her all the time but showing no signs of any distress

She could like my bitch have secondary Inertia (she needed a C section as Oxytocin injection did not work), or may have finished.  If you cannot tel then a trip to the vets is advisable.

Just for info half of all pups are born feet first,a  breach would be bottom first, which is a difficult delivery, but feet first is normal for canines.

I agree that I would want a vet to just check her over.  Better safe than sorry.

took her to the vets she was checked by 2 vets and both could find no more puppies so she just had the one very unusual

At least your mind can be at ease, knowing that there is nothing retained.  Good Luck with the one!  :-)
