well she is so friendly to strangers , too friendly she jumps up all over them and some people who arnt dog lovers ie my dad go mad when she jumps up all over them .also she when were watching telly she will just sit they and bark for ages why?

She's just being a dog never mind a Boxer :-) If you are sure the barking isn't because she needs out I would ignore her as she's trying to make you pay attention to her. Don't tell her off or anything just ignore her totally, it will be a bit noisy but it will work if you stick in.
As for the jumping up she should only get attention when all 4 feet are on the ground. Just ignore the jumping step back turn away, I think if you do a search for jumping up you should find advice

I would advise you to clicker train her to sit when greeting people.
That way, you can instantly let her know what she has done right each adn every time!
Look up clicker training on here, adn on teh net, if you dont already know about it.

When the dog jumps up, try holding the front paws for a few seconds until he/she starts to squirm. It doesn't hurt them, but they don't really like being held up on their two hind legs like that. Just do it for around 10 seconds or so and then lightly push them back on to all fours. Once someone does that to my dog, he never tries to jump on them again.

I taught my boxer to sit when a guest arrives at the door ( bark first sit when door opens) and also when my two children approach I taught him to lay down. This cuts down on knocked over children and offended guests. as for the "telly" he is hearing noises with no smells to associate with them and this can confuse it.
cava was right ignore the barking or you re-enforce the neg behavior kenneling the dog for a time out worked for me cliker training did not work for me duke is just too head strong
