my two bitches were mated with two diferent well proved stud dogs.one bitch has had a litter before shes three years  old ,the others 18 month old. well before they were mated the two bitches had hormonal imbalances and they still have. could this have played a part in them having false pregnecys,and will i ever be able to mate them again? thanks,LEAH

Hi just to let you know we are going through the same thing but we have only the one bitch that we are having trouble with and we only used proved dogs (paying stud fee we do get free nxt mating))  however are bitch is 3 1/2 ! we tried nearly everthing vets test we able to try something i see on internet on this problem! as are bitch is due in season end month! fingers cross there small cost but hey i try and give it go keep intouch i let you know! dont give up as i have felt plenty of times but if she worht it and as long as her health dosn't s suffer and if she KC dont breed her over her age! goodluck ps if you need anymore help or just chat on this i happy to do so

We all need to be very clear with the written word to avoid misunderstandings. :-) Asking for clarification is often necessary; thank you for clearing up that it would be wrong to mate any bitch over the age of 8 years, whether or not she's registered.

hi thanks for replying,has your dog got the fur loss on both sides of its ribbs. are vet says its hormonal. is there any chance you could tell us the site on the internet about this treatment.thanks leah.
