Hi my bitch is 55 days today and past few days she has been loosing a clear mucus which i no is normal. Her stomach has dropped right down and her vulva is more pronounced , she has also started digging in her whelping box and her motions are very soft could she be getting near to whelping as she had her last litter early with out any signs .

if she goes another 2 days then being 57 she will be fine x

She only needs to go another 24 hours and she is home and away!  :-)

The loose motions usually come the day before whelping with mine.  Mine often whelp on day 56 with no problems.

Obviously needs you close for support.  They do need reassurance when they are this near to whelping.

Ive taken up sleeping in same room as her her last litter was 11 dont think shes having that many this time and she give no warning her waters broke in back of jeep then pups followed straight away , so dont want to be caught off guard this time .
