Have you ever sold a pup on Breeding Terms? If so, what were your terms? Was a contract signed?

No but I have a bitch on breeding terms. I haven't paid a penny for her. She is registered in the breeder's name but I have shown her as handled by myself. First litter was in the breeder's name, she picked stud dog, paid all vet costs etc, but I kept the bitch here with me for the litter (my choice as I felt it was best for the bitch), and I got one free puppy from the litter and had second pick. Second litter will be in my name via loan of bitch, I pick stud dog (although take her recommendations very seriously as she knows far more!), and I get first pick and third pick if there are 3, breeder gets second pick. (Not likely to be more than 2-3 pups due to small breed, bitch had 3 this first time and she was packed like a tin of sardines with them!) Once she's finished being bred from she is spayed and signed over to me. Everything is in writing and so far it's all worked great.

Sounds good. Was there a contract with solicitors etc?
