it is VERY limited...the main things done are to get pups used to frightening things...like rattling...banging on plastic drums...rattling bottles...throwing bottles to each other humans around pups to get them used to it and not bolting...the agility equipment is for about 3 goes each per pup simply for them to enjoy...the tunnels are fine...cant hurt themselves in those and they love it ! even with curves and bends in them for a last go round...the ramp the trainer is very fussy about having him one side and owner the other hands on lead and collar...so when my pup fell it was my fault as they told me...did not WAIT for trainer...pup of course ran up the drattted thing as off lead earlier than that without falling off but heart in throat from trainer and myself seeing that happen ! no other dog did that ! we were in shock ! goodness knows what got into her !

she was not bothered a bit about her fall...the lead on her broke the fall as she went down of course...that did not bother her either...she was in hyper mode...and THAT...just off phone with trainer breeder about the aggression...is what she is like...OBSESSIVE and it is why i find it easy to control her when out alone...i am her focus...what WE do together...nothing else matters...shooting...cars passing...her focus is amazingly single minded...so ? when she was being told to sit ? the titbit...nothing could distract her...from ? HER BROTHER...aha...the mystery is solved ! breeder said...and it was obvious...he does not approve of people taking more than 1 pup from a litter...what happens is they focus on each other too much...far more than if with pups of different litters...so ? fairy was obsessed with her brother...and nothing in the world was of any interest but that..not food in anycase !! LOL !! FOOD ? TITBITS ? the BEST SHOW GROUND TITBITS did not interest her !!! LOL !!

breeder did say...what was said here to me about pup aggression...he did not see that kind of aggression in dogs until about 7 months old...his wife said my pup was exceptional for that...but it was aggression not play...aha...so ? hope you lot believe me what i told you about my fight with her shocking me over a dog pooh ! i am not expert...but that was not a puppy type behaviour to me ! and breeder today saw it as i saw it again ! and it was NOT play ! she meant business ! they are experts..managed to calm her faster than i did on my conflict i add ! i just kept whacking her amazed she kept coming back at me...they said CALM...CALM...holding her down...put her on her back and stroked tummy....she calmed fast....likes tummy stroking ...very much so with me...so was all happy at that...she loves her breeders i add...recognises and seeks them out all the time...this was a very unusual reaction today towards them...but sign that that is her nature...precocious i think the English word it...strong character...they said i need help !!! LOL !!! i had sussed that out myself already !!! LOL !!!

they warned me strongly NOT to let other people provoke her...it is only men here who have done that sometimes i add...and it made me nervous...i don't want her antagonised...what the prob seems to be is a cultural prob...men do not like to see me controlling a pup well ...are jealouse even...say it is a Belgian...that is not a woman's dog...it will become uncontrollable and attack you...meaning me...all that stuff...provoke me by calling her and putting her at risk and me in difficult control situations...that has lessened...today she REFUSED calls from another person coo cooing to her outside ...ignored them...i have manged that in spite of difficulties with a pup naturally being keen on attention...sigh...

the play biting is what people sometimes do to provoke her i add...men are such PRATS to do that i say !!! LOL !! excuse SEXIST COMMENT ! luckily she does NOT playbite with anyone but me ! but hey ! if you saw the pics of my arms !!! it is INSANE to think that is FUN for others ! or kids she might think also game for ! the pup HAS TO DIFFERENTIATE ! not do that with other people...and so far so good ! i am her only target for that ! so i don't want PRATS of MACHO MEN playing ROUGH GAMES with her for THEIR Fun !

not all belgians are like that...they had a 1 year old bitch there today...never seen before...she like many dogs as breeders said tonight to me seem to like the smell of me as many of the pups come over to me for attention and sit for comfort by me often...this bitch was a DELIGHTFUL dog...typical shepherd type they said...protective circling of us all...but LICKED my face and put her paws on my shoulders etc ! never met me before ! i was surprised...belgians are wary type dogs...alld dogs are wary of strangers first time generally naturally i think...i did like her...did have a PANG of thought thinking ...ooh if my pup could be so NICE one day !!! ??? i thought i answered this last question last night...am a morning person...maybe didn't press the right buttons...answer is ? it was not serious continual agility no...just a couple of turns per pup to accustom them to strange things...reduce their fear...i think...we don't ask the WHY much to be honest...just see our dogs happy and think oh fine ! and i of course did not follow instructions of trainer...sigh...he got very cross with me an yelled at everyone that WE WERE NOT TO MOVE ONTO THE THINGS until HE said so and we were HOLDING Our pups on leads with him on other side espeically of the ramp thing...

well fairy rushed off OFF LEAD when we were at tunnels and RAN UP the dratted planks herself and down again !!! i was horrified...too far to stop her ! she did not fall then...she FELL when I went alone minus trainer to do it with her not waiting...hence the reprimand...luckily the lead broke her fall and she did not land on her back...she was up again and off no signs of upset i add...was hyper...

why on earth she decided to rush up to that thing alone before then i don't know...last week ? she REFUSED to walk an inch on it...claws out...sat down...head into my chest...did not like it...no other dog had just done that i add so she just TOOK OFF for no obvious reason to anyone there alone on it !

right...read the first page...seems sensible to me...however...there is such a thing as PROVOCATION that is UNACCEPTABLE...and those would be to use a LEGAL term to me MITIGATING factors that need to be taken into account...now...if say...theoretically...a bunch of kids in a PACK decided on seeing a say PITBULL that they wanted to TEASE IT...and HIT IT and HURT IT and were even going to KILL it eventually ? oooh...them or adults i say...then what ? put down pitbull for defending itself ? i say NON to that ! that is UNACCEPTABLE to me ! i would WHIP the kids ! children ! not waste public money on a reform school even on them !

we met a kennel of 20 labradors at a breeder yesterday i add...they barked like mad...then licked my hands thru the wires...and my pup did not bark at them just stuck her nose to them....then breeder told me to get my pup off his dogs as she could pass germs to them...sigh...so fragile ? i said. !!! this is a PUBLIC PATH this side of your wires mate I replied ! my dog\s nose can go where it likes !

Your pup shouldn't do any full height jumps,straight weaves or full height equipment till she's roughly 14 months.

i agree...i avoid stairs always with her...lift her off bed couches...she started jumping on and off couches herself now bigger unfortunately...and ? i have a prob today...she has sprained something in her back or legs yesterday...not hard running or anything...but off to see oesteopath now about it...she walked fine 5 minutes after...and this morning i kept her on lead to stop her running...but not taking chances...a sprain...needs attention and REST...nerve trapped maybe...she screamed suddenly yesterday for a few seconds...seemed in pain...then settled in my arms...but something is not quite right...back with update later tonight...1 hour away in arriege..the best on recommended by breeder i rang fast yesterday...other dogs had it...and could be needing some manipulation...some pups have it from birth they said squashed in tummy...whatever...it is curable...i had a trapped back nerve as adolescent once...full day unmovable i was...horrible...at least she is not in that state...

seeing the vet in morning...called in there after a latin raving rant at no directions and daft addresses of oesteopath...vet says best to see vet first anyway. they took a look at her walking around in vets and said she seemed not in pain and was walking fine...but to not let her exert herself until seen properly tomorrow. so i am ok. she is very good at just sleeping i must say always...that is a good thing about belgians apparently...they like being indoors with people...massivly active if outside...but can be calm inside...forget all those CHEWED ROOMS pics i saw of some...those dogs were psychotic i say...mine loves exercise but i have no prob telling her not to chew specifics here. AND the crate harness thing is now needing a review by me...but the GREAT NEWS ??? is she LIES AND SLEEPS on passenger seat WTIHOUT A MURMUR since yesterday ! END OF SITTING ON MY LAP while driving ! she is unafraid of the car now..even walks up to it without calling her...and did not vomit in it...just goes straight to sleep in it...except when i get out to pay motorway tolls...she sits up and watches me then. AND i take her inside to pay...sometimes they say NO DOGS...i just say...you wanna get paid or what ? and yesterday the GARD was happy to chat about her not bothered she was actually walking out of female toilets with me...said...that is a BELGIAN ! i need a guard dog ! lol...nice chap.
