Anyone seen anything in Our Dogs? I'm looking for the AV Toy Veteran write up and haven't seen it in Dog World yet. :(

No, the Toys do not seem to have been published as yet.

Sigh, I was afraid of that, I didn't get a write up from this judge last time she judged me either. Oh well!

Contact the show secretary and complain they should chase the judge up for you.

I never got a critique in a paper for a show I attended, really for the judge. I complained and then I got by email the judges notes/critique which never seemed to of been submitted to any paper..

There seems to be a lot of open show critiques missing this year, my friend said they seem to go into Our Dogs OK but not the other one and to get both papers is rather expensive each week.

Tried that a few years back Nova, different show society but the secretary just shrugged and said they couldn't do anything. :-(

Well they can help now as it is in the contract that a critique should be written and they can complain to the KC is it is not written - if it is a case that it is the papers who have not published the secretary or the judge should send you a copy.

Do all the clubs/Societies get a copy then?  We've had a few critiques, especially for 2nd places which the paper rarely if ever prints even if the rest of the results go in..  Would of liked to have seen them?!?

That I do not know we ask for a critique in the contract and ask for a copy and 99% of the judges oblige. It is part of KC rules that they are written but there are still a few judges that do not seem to think it part of their duties and I do think they should be chased up - exhibitors pay for the judges opinion and without a critique they do not have it.
