Topic Dog Boards / General / Dog in my yard!!
- By nikkibed [gb] Date 27.05.10 13:37 UTC
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice. My neighbour has a Jack Russel approx 1 years old. The problem is that they do not have a gate on their yard to keep it in - they prefer to use a pile of items to block it's exit. This is fine until I go into my own back yard with my two dogs and it escapes. First, it was jumping over the wall which was solved by me putting some trellising on top of the wall. However it now escapes the neighbour's yard, runs round to my gate and is aggressive towards my dogs. I don't want to to have an argument with my neighbours, but I feel like I cannot let my dogs out into my own yard for fear of this dog getting in and attacking them. My dogs would retaliate to this.

Thanks

Pick up said dog and take it back to owners smiling sweetly.

This is yours, I would hate for him to be eaten.

take to dog warden each time. it wont take long for them to put a gate up afte they have had to pay £50 a time to get it back!

Oh certainly after the first time.

Almost sprayed my tea everywhere then Barbara :-D   will have to remember that one, sugar is far more effective than vinegar in these situations ;)

Certainly if it kept happening, I would let the dog warden deal with it.
