i used a web site that you put the date of first mating in and it then tells you what will be happening on what date. this web site has given the date of the 4th june. she was mated on the 1st april, now i think that her due date would be around the 1st june, but what does everyone else think? i started taking her temp yesterday although she isnt keen on it :(

ON THE 1ST MATING SHE SHOULD BE DUE ON THE 3RD JUNE (63 DAY)THATS IF SHE WAS MATED ON THE 1ST APRIL. DAY 58 IS THE BEST TIME TO START TAKING HER TEMP TO BE FAIR I NEVER GOT MY HEAD AROUND IT I JUST KNOW THE SIGNS OF MY DOGS BEFORE.

i always count mateing day 1st day. so 63 day would be 2nd :) mine have alawys gone to this date or earlier

i thought the 4th was a little late being it would make it the 65th day,

yes ive been on 1 before and was given a date 2days over i think its because they work it out from 2nd mating if bitch had one. so if it was me i ues 2nd as due date but remember she could go earlier so be ready LOL :) good luck not long now

i am hoping that she has them at the weekend as my partner will be here to give us a hand, otherwise i could be on my own if she labours at night (he works nights) :/ lol

you will be fine LOL dont you like doing it alone, my hubby hates it ,i have to do it but i dont mind (good job)LOL he panics too much :( and having a breech pup stuck this time i had to just get on with it and stop him flaping about in panic ,so from now on im hoping he will be at work when we have next litter LOL ,good luck for the weekend! :)

If she was mated for the first time on the 1st April the 63rd day is 3rd June.

If she were my breed and it was a first litter I would expect her to whelp anytime from 29th May to 2nd June, as they rarely go to their due date. 

With alter litters I have rarely had them go past a day over, most often a day early.

I always count from first mating, and have only ever had one bitch go more than a day over.

took her temp again earlyer, it was 100.58 yesterday at 16.30, today it was 99.86 at 16.30, although i am putting the temp drop down to the change of weather, what do you guys think? am i right in thinking this?

could very well be the weather, once you take it same time every day you will see a patern to it ,ive alway had a drop of below 36.9 or that.

I definitely say 3rd June.  But with my breed would be ready for 27th May, as mine often go a week early.

well i dont think she is any where near ready yet as she is still running round the garden like a loony, not even sure she realises she is pregnant at times lol she hasnt really slowed down at all, i think she has stopped jumping the fence half way down the garden now though, maybe not by choice but because she cant get herself over it any more, havent seen her over it in the past 2 weeks thank god

She should whelp 63 days give or take a day from the day she ovulated ;)
