Hi, has any new owner tried to register their puppy on line but been told there is a problem and you need to post the breeder certificate  to the kc? I have been waiting 8 weeks for the kc papers off the breeder and Ive finally got them and wanted to register on line but it wont let me. Ive phoned the kennel club and they said there is a security issue picked up by the system and thats why I need to send the papers in. Unfortunately for me the breeder has not signed the back so I cant send them without the signature. I have waited that long and pestered that much for these papers I am reluctant to send them back to the breeder but I have tried to contact them but having no joy at moment! Any advise welcome.

doesnt sound good does it! could be a number of reasons and i wouldnt like to guess ,i think the only way to find out is by sending them back?

I registered the transfer of our puppy online with no difficulty at all. I wonder if the breeder has informed the KC that she has not signed transfer and that's what is causing the problem - can't think of another reason to have to send the certificate.

Oh dear sounds rather suspect to me.  did you get signed paperwork to say that the dog would be KC registered etc and that there weren't any restrictions?  If not, think you may be in for a difficult road ahead.

The Kennel club said there were no restrictions or endorsements on the registration for this puppy. I got a receipt at the time saying I was sold a kc registered puppy and I paid a lot of money because it was show quality. The kc papers were not available at the time but I was told they would be sent to me. After a lot of pestering from me I have finally got them but not signed on the back so I cant transfer the puppy into my name. I have emailed and tried to ring but no replies and now Im getting frustrated by it all. This breeder is well known to the breed and I wouldnt have thought wanted discreditting. I just wondered if anyone else had had a problem with  the on line service?

The only reason I can think is that the papers were cancelled after being sent out
