Hi,
Our bitch is on day 58 from first mating. Yesterday she was a little sick and had the runs. She didn't want any food after her breakfast. Today she had breakfast fine, then had lunch. A few hours after lunch she was sick and has been sick quite a lot since then. Have not offered her any tea as feel she'll probably bring this up. She was bringing up some of her food but now mainly water and brownish froth. Should I be worried by the lack of food intake with her hopefully going into labour at some point soon. We think it's a larger than average litter as she is huge and very uncomfortable. Should we take her to the vets tomorrow? She looks very sorry for herself.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

could be the weather too ,just need to make sure she dont dehydrate ,does sound like its not going to be to long now tho ,my girl had hers day 58 only 3 pups and large breed she was sick the day before and didnt eat but that morning she eat her breakfast and had 1st pup mid afternoon, so if you feel shes ok in her self i wouldnt be rushing off to vets, will she drink and keep that down?

Our bitch is on day 48 and is not looking at food in the morning, poor thing feeling a bit delicate.

She is drinking but seems to be bringing that up aswell. Sick twice last night, just fluid. I thought it may have been the weather as well. May try her with a little bit of food this morning. She if she'll keep it down! She's managing to keep herself quite cool though so at least not over doing it in the sun.
