Well, we finally have the critiques from Crufts for my breed and I am pleased to say they were worth the wait for my boy and his sisters.
We had been through a rough patch with our boy when he was uncharacteristicly spooked by a judge (80% of the dogs were on that day) and people who claimed to be supportive were only too glad to say there was something wrong with his temperament (because he had been winning too much for newbies?)
He is back on form now and part of his critique says "Super temperament, really was enjoying himself"
Onwards and upwards. :-)

That's wonderful and good on your for working through it so well -I know it isn't easy! One of mine who did really well as a pup got spooked at 10 months so I've now spent exactly half her fife working really hard with her (she's 20 months now) only to take her in the ring last weekend and have her freak out totally again.

Thanks Marrianne, sorry to here about your girl. We went back to training with ours, gave him a long break from showing and then got his breeder to take him in for a few shows. Now we only do the shows we know he likes and would never go under that judge again.
its just so nice to have it in black and white for everyone to read. Hope your girl is back on form again too.
