Hi my baby had 7 puppies this morning - any advice or tips to ensure mum and puppies are getting enough nutrients as she is small breed!

big congrats to you and your girl ,just make sure mum eats a good food and drinks plenty of milk and water ,soak her food and maybe think about somw calcium? shes going to be making alot of milk for them! rotate the pups so they all get a good drink form her back teats ,you may have to wean alittle earlier then you normaly would :) xx good luck and enjoy :)

Hi white lilly thanks for the advice, would you please advice what in what form calicum would be better ?? and do i have to get from vet? also if you have time could you give me some tips on weaning as last litter I did struggle!

im useing tums LOL the 1 we take :) my girl has 4 aday she is large breed, my vet told me about them and do work!
i wean mine on same food as what mum eats ,feed her in the box and when pups want it they will go for mums food ,i start by useing a small spoon to feed them then a small flat plate mine are 3weeks 1 day old now and eating off the plate x
