Yes, Get everything ready.

It may let you edit the post if not I am sure admin will sort it. Good luck with the pups
Hi she is quite settled at the moment is this normal, any idea on timescale
Thanks
A:)

They drift in and out of sleep, there is no set timescale. Once she has the big contractions you must call the vet if no puppy with an 1 or 2 hours, do not let her strain unproductively. Your vet should be on standby, have you rung them and said that you think labour has begun? Google whelping bitches.
Someone with more knowledge of your breed should come on shortly and advise you.
Hi Mandypandy :) I had one who was shivering, panting, digging/nesting all day from 9am. Hubby came home from work & said 'How many?' I said...none! She settled down for about an hour and a half, so I rang the vet at 6pm to warn him she'd started. I then phoned my mentor & as we were chatting, my girl raised her rear end up a couple of times & I joked that she was passing wind, but my mentor told me to just have a look. I did & 1st pup was halfway out! I was straight on the phone to hubby in my 'trying to stay calm' voice & he was in the queue in Asda! Some help eh? Good luck...sounds like it could be soon :)

Sounds like my girl LG - when she had her first litter, I was on the phone to my friend and I saw a contraction and said 'ooh, she's finally getting started'. About an hour later the first puppy arrived, just as hubby was asking if he should put dinner on. I said 'not yet, bit busy here!' :-p
lol Lucy...I didn't get much time, the 1st pup was well & truly on it's way. 2 hours till 2nd, then everyone went to bed at 11.30 when we had 7. By the time hubby got up for work in the morning there was 9. It was our 1st litter & I was zombiefied for weeks. An experience I'll never forget & possibly the most rewarding thing I've ever done :)
