Anyone know if there is a particular company that will insure a (9) year old rescue dog at a reasonable cost? Going to see the oldie this afternoon and just want to be prepared in case he 'fits' with my dogs.

I checked out PDSA and it came out at least twice the price of Asda etc.  I am sure that I read somewhere that there was a company/organisation that offered policies for rescue dogs. Perhaps it was the PDSA but the price was ridiculous. Any ideas anyone?

handy site, my vet said they cannot recommend firms but this was a good place to look.

Got a good quote from LV, and I changed my home insurance to them last year, why didn't I think of trying them?? Anyway, thanks very much

i initially went with LV as was pleased with the quote, but then realised the policy wasnt exactly what i wanted so changed to animal friends, and if you use the cash back sites the quote gets a bit cheaper too

As it turned out my girl wasn't over enamoured with the old guy, so we didn't adopt him. But thanks for all your help.
