The Canadian KC have asked me for a "studcertificate" to prove a hound was in my ownership at time of semen collection. Naturally this only arrived after our KC closed for the weekend! and its not something Ive had to supply in the past with semen so wondered if anyone else has had this request and if the KC can supply it. OK I Know I can ask them on Monday, but my friend in Canada is a bit frantic for info as shes just had all her registrations sent back to her 12 weeks after she originally sent off for them! :(

I would imagine a copy of his registration certificate which gives you as the owner should be OK with a copy of the KC certified pedigree.

I don't even think the KC has gotten as far as verifying the ownership for AI purposes.

well I thought that as well but the CKC say that its possible I was not his owner at the time of collection, from a registration certificate dates 2 years before!!! Seems ironic they are being so fastidious considering their current situation!!!
