Can anyone point me in the direction of a shop that does cocktail dresses for around size 18-20 less than £50? Ive tried evans, dp, wallis, top shop, bhs etc but cant find anything I like?!?

Supposing that is that 'on line' shops count, Monsoon and Easy are high street favourites too.

May not suit you, but if you're losing weight have you thought of looking on ebay? Lots of nice Monsoon etc. stuff on there, worn once or twice or often not worn at all.

Debenhams? They have many dresses online their and also in store covering many designs, styles and sizes.

Coast? The ones in the sales, i find that they can come up a little generous on the sizing there too.

TK MAX....my daughter got a very nice drees for her formal there...was more or less a cocktail dress sort of thing...

Matlan actualy some nice dresses at the moment :-)

Next now doing a better sized range have a look at their online catalogue.

Debenhams sale is on at the moment - 20 - 25% off and some of their stock goes up to size 20
