Don't know were to start here go's someone i know has just had a litter of sbt's well she works fulltime 8:30 till 5:15.
Last friday said bitch went into labour on her own first pup born when she was in the shower. I went over to help when she asked.
This is the bitch's first litter. Yesterday & today she went to work & left them on there own i have been going to check on mum & pups, but she is only going to have two weeks off of work.I look on here and see all you health test & stay with your girl all the time & have so many problems & someone like her just seems to sail though. I am so bloody mad & i feel sorry for the bitch. I will not be able to help soon has my girl is having a litter soon. I go in and check 3 times a day. What else can i do.

Not a lot minnie mouses.....you're doing what you can.

Just what the breed needs.....another litter... super!  (tongue in cheek obviously!).

What on earth does she think the pups will do for cleaning and feeding while she is at work once weaning starts?

Exactly Barbara. The first couple of weeks are the easiest (although I myself do like constant supervision.) If will only get harder once they need weaning.

I can see a big bowl of food left down and the pups left to fend for themselves.

But at least she can advertise as 'born and raised in the house' :-(

could be more like "born and razed the house" by the time they're done with her

i agree the first 2 weeks are easy- the bitch does everything and you just have to be near to check she doesnt squash them. after that its pretty much 24/7 care.

Her pups are nearly 6 weeks old & are left from 8 30 to 5 30 on there own with there mum. & last night she left them on there own with her 14 year old son. They are lovely pups, hasn't sold one going to put them in the paper. I adviced her to when she kc reg the pups to put them on the hc litter reg. I try to advice her i would pop in to see them but she took her key back. I try to keep an eye out to make sure everything is well. but i have my own pups to see too.
