My youngest is going through his first coat change and its taking forever. It started a couple of months ago but only in bits.
I'm combing and brushing him through as often as i can, he's had a few baths to work it through and lots of blasting of the dryer, but for some reason its still being stubborn. Never had a dog where its taken sooo long.
Anyone got any advice to speed this up as at this rate he'll be coatless by the time it gets round to his next champ show :-(

Anyone any ideas?
I use a product called Restore, it's a powder that you put on their food, I swear by it, just use it when coat starts to blow :0)

Can i ask what's actually in this powder and where do you get it from? Not sure unless it tastes wonderful that my dogs will even touch their dinner with something sprinkled on it.. hehe
Hi
I'm very embarrassed to say I don't know what's in it LOL it was recommended by a good friend whose dogs always look immaculate :0), you can get it from a site called doghealth, think it's about £12 ish for a 500g pot, it's always worked well for mine, he's not bothered about it on his food but I know how picky some dogs are ;0)
good luck and sorry I can't help further
