I refreeze raw food that has started to thaw out on delivery and never had a problem with it - I figure if my dogs can be unaffected by some of the gross things they find and eat on their walks such as decomposing rabbits and pheasants some refrozen dog meat shouldn't be a problem.

Ive refrozen raw food in the past and never had an ill dog through it. I think along the same lines as harley. We spend time making sure their food prep is hygenic yet they will eat ANYTHING if they get the chance.

Can do - can do.
If I have got my dog a big marrowbone, he'll work at it for an hour or so and when he seems to be satisfied, wrap it up in a bag and stick it in the freezer for another day. Much better than letting him have total access to it and having it lurk around on your floor for a few days attracting smells and flies.
