The CACIB is an International CC issued by the FCI for International shows, the organising country will also issue their own countries CC, which in France and some other countries is called the CAC.

So at the recent Eurodogshow in Belgium the winner of best dog will have won an international CC, and if eligible the Belgian one. Depending on the country and the breed, the local CC may only be given to the highest placed exhibit with the relevant working qualifications.

I have Elkhounds, and in Europe I could win CAC and CACIB, but if I went to Scandinavia to show, I could compete for the CACIB if it was an international show, but I would never get the local CC, as you have to have the working qualification first.
