Topic Dog Boards / Health / Healthy Pets Insurance - Claim
- By Sophie [gb] Date 05.05.10 06:08 UTC
Hi

I am going to have to put a substantial claim in for one of my dogs who is at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) who is not too well at all.  Has anyone claimed before with Healthy Pets, if so how easy was it - I also have the option of the RVC putting the claim in on our behalf (for a small admin fee) not sure if that is the best option?  bit stressed at the moment so so it to be as easy as possible.

Hi Sophie,

Im not with the same pet insurance as you but i have just claimed for two of my dogs totalling in £1,300, this is not as much as you may be claiming for but I had no problems the vet practice filled in the form and sent it off, a  week later i had my cheques.  I would ask RVC to do the claim.  Small admin fee is worth it as there should be no problems with the claim.

The vets will have to fill out the claim form for you anyway, you just need to fill out your section and they should do the rest.
