We have a chrysler Grand Voyager and and 8 week old OES pup!! We want to make his car journeys more comfortable & safer but when we were at the chrsyler garage yesterday toget a dog guard for the car theyhave to remove the rear row of seats to install it ! Kind of defeats the object of having a 7 seater car if you have to lose 3 for a dog guard!!
Has anyone had thisproblem before & if so how have they overcome it and installed a dog guard without losing the seats !
I have checked the Barjo website 9very god!! ) and plan to ring them to see if they can help but practical experience is more useful I think!!
Thanx all!!

Hi Findles, so do we & we ended up having one made cos after we bought the chrysler one we found it didn`t fit. We did lose the seats tho but we planned that anyway. See about a custom made one.

I know petco (don't know if you guys/gals have one) has one where is pushes out on the car like a child gate and is placed above the back seat to keep them from coming over the seat. it just block the top not the whole back area.
i have this problem with my estate. the dog now travels in a seat with a doggy seatbelt.

Can you not use a cage, if needed with a chair or two tipped down. Not sure how much space you have behind the last row of chairs but if its enough room for a dog there should be enough room for a cage.

Try Hampster Baskets they will make to your spec.

Hi
My friend has a chrysler voyager and she took one of the seats out and used a cage or failing that ( she has 5kids so needs all the seats )she secured the cage down the 'aisle ' in the middle

Thanks for the advice, I think I will take accurate measurements and see about a cage for the rear, he has one as his indoor kennel so would be happy in it ! and it will be cheaper than the Chrysler dog guard that is available but not approriate as well!!
