Hi, Is it usual for a 11 week old DDB puppy to have her first season.None of
my large breed dogs have had a season before 6 months..11 weeks seems a bit early to me.

It is really early, are you sure she hasn't got a Water Infection? These can cause bleeding similar to a season

Yes I think its a bit too early, pretty sure its not an infection its just little spots here and there
like a season and she is fine in herself..She going to vet in morning for 2nd vaccie so I get
vet to check.

i would definately say it is more likely to be cystitis. A season at that age would be unheard of i would of thought or a very rare case.

Hope she is ok

WOuld think it's some kind of infection, would doubt it's a season.

Blood spotting is surprisingly common in bitch puppies - often it's due to maternal hormones waning and will stop within a few days without treatment. If you're at all worried have the vet check her out.
