Has anyone any suggestions on dog friendly accommodation for border union show..not too expensive. I know you can sometimes get travelodges but its mega expensive when you have 3 dogs or so as they charge £20- per dog :-(

There's a lovely campsite with a shower/toilet block if you fancy camping!

we have stayed here a few times they accept dogs for free very welcoming and decent accommodation. they allow the dogs in the bar so you can eat with them .

Not many travel lodges in this neck of the woods!!! I know the Mansfield hotel in Hawick allows dogs and is about 20 miles from Kelso.
Clovenfords will be a similar distance and there are some lovely walks nearby. There are a few hotels in Kelso itself but they could be expensive and not sure which take dogs but a web search would tell you. Some names are Roxburghe, Ednam House, and Cross Keys.
