Hi, I have been taking my dogs temp and today it is 99.3, I also noticed today that she is producing milk, but she does stll have her appetite, we have had a sonogram done and know we are having 3 pups..How long before labor does a bitch start producing milk?

With one of my bitches, she was dripping milk five days before she whelped!

Out of interest how do you know she is having three pups?
Has she had a litter before and that is what she had?

My mother in law had a litter with her bitch. She was told by
her vet that her bitch was so tiny that she may have three
inside if lucky. Even by ultra sound they can only tell you
around three. Anyway her bitch had 10 pups. I still think
thats so funny. Because they were so sure she was only having
a small litter.

They had a sonogram (American name for an Ultrasound) done which presumably showed three puppies.
