Hi - i have read previously that you can use the MateTel to test for pregnancy - has anyone tried this with success?
How does this work? I know before mating it was LH surge i was looking for to indicate when she will ovulate.
and when can i start testing?

the ferning pattern you get when they are ovulating is the same pattern you get again at around 21 days if they are pregnant. I tried it twice and it was right twice.

I have just tested by bitches saliva using a microscope -she is 21 days from first mating today lots of ferning ....?!?! will wait and see if it is correct :)

worked for me twice. I thought it was 14 days to the day but it was a while ago I may be wrong.

i spoke to  a very experienced breeder who uses the ferning ovuation test and she felt the test could not be used when pregnant.
so  will have to  wait for the scan next week  :) xx
