I have just mated my bitch and I am feeding her Orijen 6 fish formula. I am wondering if this is too high a protein content for a bitch in whelp? Has anyone fed this to their bitch through pregnancy?

We only feed what the bitch get normally all through the whelp with working trial food but add a small can of fish once a week, we have never used Orijen 6 fish formula but was advised never supplement through pregnancy, I dunno if this is a supplement but if it is id stop using it for the time being.

Is there advice from the manufactures on the side of the packet or on their own site?

Orijen isn't a supplement.  It's a complete dog food.
