I had my bitches stomach felt by a vet at 25 - 30 days after mating .He couldn't feel anything  can it be wrong...!!!!!
She has slightly pink nipples and was sick once in the morning 10 days ago which is unusual for her. Had palpatation done as my local vets doesnt let you go in with your dog for a scan.

It depends on the experience of the vet.  At that age they are like small hard peas.  My Vets has always been able to confirm pregnancy at that stage but won't commit to numbers

Thank you l am new to this and was the 1st time l had ever seen this vet so dont now if he is experienced .So should i just wait to see if she gets bigger ( when would i notice this )or scan .She hasnt been of her food at all.

Yoy would be surprised at how very much bitches vary.  I've had bitches that didn't even look pregnant until the week before they whelped.

shes could be scanned now ,but go to a scanner that knows what their doing that way you will know for sure! good luck x

Id rather scan as its less invasive or you could get a blood test done

Does anyone do this?
My vet who also shows/breeds and is a friend had suggested a relaxin test the other night when texting me - I assume this is it? when is ot done and is it a relaible indicator?
