I can't find the thread but I'm sure I saw one on temperature changes in bitches before they whelp, does anyone know what they go down to?

The normal dog temperature is about 100.3F - 101.3F and you can expect it to drop up to/about 2F in the last 8 - 24 hours before whelping.

shes on go slow then :( ,i had a ess that whelped like yours is ,she would have 1 every 2hours it was a very long hard time with her she had big litters too ,good luck with your girl ,some are just this way ,hope things speed up for you x

Mum and pups are fine. Long labour, ended up at the vets for oxytocin but the rest is history. She's got 3 boys and a girl all suckling and content :)

Congrats and a big hug to mum , bet you are relieved its over now x
