Disgusting! There is just no excuse for that atall. A horrible, AVOIDABLE, death for the poor little dog :( :(

Not sure what words to use.  I hope the staff are sacked not suspended ,they deserve worse crimnal action for negligence if thats possible. I hate the idea of those drying cages always have

ALL PAH stores should now be banned from ever having grooming parlours.

And PAH should be prosecuted for cruelty under the DEFRA Animal Welfare Act.

I am disgusted.

Pet@home have never been great, me and the oh have decided that we won't be getting our supplies from there anymore after this. I know it wasn't our store that baked a dog but their standards of animal welfare are still not great.
So its the country store and indie pet shop for us now

They just rent out the parlour space so they're as good as whoever pays the money! :(  At my local one in Berkshire, a very young lass could regular be seen sitting on the floor with a dog in a grip under her arm while she was clipping its head!!  But there were huge windows and everyone could see what went on and STILL owners chose to book their dogs in there!! :(  There are groomers to keep all owners happy  ...........

That is so so tragic.  I wasn't happy with the local groomer, so i started doing my dog myself - not the most professional finish I'll admit, but she's healthy, happy and most of all - safe.

That's just awful!! I'm so glad I didn't get the job as a PAH groomer in Suffolk now, I would be so ashamed to admit I worked for that company. I'd rather work for myself and get a good reputation and NOT neglect dogs like that. :-(

this is absolutely terrible. I have not been a fan of this store since  got food from our local shop which was crawling with maggots and it was about a year out of date, but this truly beggars belief and the person responsible for this tragedy should be prosecuted.

As a shih tzu owner and lover of the breed........I was very upset to read and hear about this.
I am not a violent person but had this happened to one of mine, I would have baked the groomer alive......disgusting, cant believe people would ever use this store again.
