Hi all
My little girl is on day 27 after last mating day 31 after 1st mating. The problem is she just dont want to eat i have tried everything eggs, chicken, liver, dog food she will have a bite or two at most. She is also very subdued, following me every where and today had clear stringy discharge.
She was at the vets friday and got a clean bill of health she go's back next tuesday for her scan.
what i needed to know was is she eating enough? I mean her appetite is non existent. i am giving her water with glucose in it and offering her food every time i'm in the kitchen, today all she has eaten is a cheese triangle!! she is still playing and going for her walks but just sleeps or wants fussing when at home. i know i'm probably worring over nothing but this is our first litter and just wanted another opinion. Any advice greatly appreciated Scarlet

dont worry she is at the morning sickness stage, it will pass ,she will be fine in a few days ,she will soon make up for not eating :)

Thanks White Lilly
I read all these stories about them eating their owners out of house and home. I just wish she would i worry she's not eating enough for herself never mind a litter. Thanks for the reasurance though i feel a little better knowing it will pass soon. Scarlet

Like barneyfoz, I've had girls scare me half to death by just refusing to eat while pregnant, but I've never had one not whelp successfully because of it.

Thay do it to keep us on our toes!  :-)
