Hi my boy just won his first CC i always put him in Limit when i do kc shows and i put him in open when i do IKC shows!!

I am wondering if him getting his first CC does this mean i can't put him in Limit anymore??

I have already put him into a show when is next wk i think and i have entered him in limit!!

Provided he has not won 7 or more 1st's at Champ shows in limit or open you will be ok in limit.

The new definition for Limit is:
For dogs which have not become show Champions under Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club or won 7 or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Limit and Open Classes confined to the Breed, whether restricted or not at Shows where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed.

So he's fine to continue in Limit. :-)

Does this mean in both the IKC and the kc as he has won quiet a few firsts in the IKC ?

Read the IKC shedual there should be an info section at the back

I'm not sure whether the IKC first prizes count towards his total; you'd better contact them and ask.
