Doesn't look like Peter Townshends autograph and if you think pic is from the 60's (?) then he looked a lot younger.

If you look on ebay at Pete Townshend's autograph, no two look the same LOL.

We all seem to be looking for musicians but it could be anybody - actor, dancer etc.  And do we know if he's famous ?. He might not have become anybody well known. Are there any clues on the back of the photo (if it's available to look at) ?.

I think its Pete Townsend as well looking at that jaw and nose.
Though Adam Faith sprang to mind but his nose was smaller I think!

The autograph is most definitely not Adam Faith's - I know - I had him sign enough legal documents when he was still "practising" his Adam Faith signature, way back in 63.

I've wondered about Robert Powell ...but I think that he had the beard/long hair about 69 for the filming of Jesus Christ ....

Not Robert Powell - the person looks older in the pic than he does now !. Jesus of Nazareth wasn't filmed until 76/77(ish) and he looked so young in it.

it also says on the properties zz199 1827 gerryg1969/autographphoto.   Gerry G could be the photographer, or manager. 

Someone must know.  Asked the OH has he used to be in a group in the 60's (Nashville Teens before they became famous) - he said none of the Rolling Stones, as he used to play at the same gigs (think he could be wrong though).

I've posted the link above to Gerry G's photobucket. The pic is there with lots of others. We just need to ask him who it is. Looking at his others pics I don't think I know any of them !.

It's vaguely reminiscent of Paul Weller.

He's the person who is trying to find out who the photo is, I think - collects autographed photos and doesn't know who this one is.

It was posted on another forum and is just bugging us.

Well who knows - none of the others are anybody we know well over here......a pretty random bunch of 'celebs' as far as I can tell !
