Give Bakers their due though - they know exactly what they are aiming at.  Look at the packaging on their new range of treats, it's no coincidence that they look like bags of sweets.

It's a marketing masterstroke and, as many of us let our kids eat sweets from time to time, I can see it improving Bakers sales revenue.

I wonder who is behind their ad campaign?  Bakers is a preferred TV advert by my kids who like the dogs.  Thank goodness they aren't the ones who shop for dog food though :)

I wouldn't sign up online - I don't want to get bombarded by spam BUT if I was offered a free bag at the Supermarket I might say yes...  ...after all, just one won't hurt!!

I was in Tesco yesterday and a Nan was holding her granddaughter up looking at the Bakers treats the little girl saw one of the new types with the fish shapes and other shapes on it, and said "oh nanny can I have some Haribos". (Gummy Sweets). They are marketing these coloured treats for us humans are dogs really botherd what coloured treats they are eating,so why add all these additives to our dogs mine are hyper enough without this.

so why add all these additives to our dog
To appeal to humans and make money!  Canine welfare is irrelevant! :(
