When wanting to quote another post on your reply,how does one get the writing to go pale grey as if a quote like i have seen many times on this site? Thankyou

Copy and paste into reply as above

at each end but don't leave spaces between >>and words>>

......or, click the 'reply' at the bottom of the post, highlight what you want to quote and then click on the little quotation marks (" ")at the bottom of the post you want to reply to and the quote will pop up in your reply box  :)!!

Does anyone else now get this weird prefix (above) when they quote.  I didn't used to, but it arrived a few weeks ago.  I have to delete it before posting

...and Sam gets the weird prefix too.

It only happens if you use the quote button AND it's quite recent.  It never did this before so I wonder what changed a few weeks ago?
