Can anyone tell me if at a champ show a 'special' class is a crufts qualifier?

thanks

as far as i know, the only "special" classes that are crufts qualifications are the special puppy and special junior classes at crufts.i remember as i had to look it up after being placed 3rd in special junior at crufts this year and someone had remarked we hadnt qualified for next years with this placing.in fact we had. hope this helps, roy.

No, only the 'special' classes at Crufts itself are qualifiers.

Special classes don't qualify you unless it was at Crufts. I had checked this out a couple of years ago and don't think it has changed.

Are you thinking of the "special Black" classes on Saturday?  If so, I am afraid they are not qualifiers.  Did you enjoy your first Ch. show?

Yeh I thought it was alright not as fun as non champ shows a complete different feeling, dogs all seem to be treated differently to, I think I prefered the non champ shows!

I always enjoy Scottish Pug - a lovely, relaxed, friendly show.  Of course, there is a lot more going on at an all breed open show - jsut wait till you get to one of the big Ch shows like SKC - big difference again!

Not doing the skc!! No minor pup! I'm sure it will be different once I get to know people maybe?
