So, my showing bag is dying a death and will need replacing shortly. Does anyone have any recommendations for the 'ultimate dog showing bag'? I find backpacks easier to carry when you have other stuff with you, but not dead set on that. Something with lots of pockets is vital.

Any suggestions?

Something in the 'holdall' line is good - my Pedigree BOB one has plenty of room and pockets. It's getting rather old now, so failing another stunning puppy.... I'll be on the look out in another year or so! :-D

Hi I love my Outward Hound bag http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=571&pf_id=1725.

It has loads of small comparments, perfect for scissors, titbits etc.

It opens really wide so it is easy to find things.

I love it so much I bought one for myself to use as hand luggage when flying.

You're just showing off now, Lucy ... LOL.

Thanks for those suggestions. Looks like Hub may sell the Outward Hound, so perhaps I'll start by trying to get my hands on one of those at a show.

Thanks folks,
Marina

i just use a royal canin back pack. i need all the spare hands I can muster so must be a back pack. Cant be doing with loads of pockets as Ill simply not be able to find anything. I just chuck in damp cloths (slobber) and carrier bags for poo, a few leads and a ring clip and thats all I need.

Have a look in the  baby care section of your local supermarket, some of the chaning bags and pram bags are ideal for there one big section and then loads of little compartments.  I've bought a couple of them and they have been great.

I know, I'm sorry! I put Pedigree one just so that you could imagine what the sort of holdall I meant was as there are a lot of them around, and just couldn't stop myself putting BOB in as well! It was our proudest moment in 8 years of showing after all! :-D

And rightly so you should mention the BOB! :-D Well done, I bet you were thrilled! I've always wanted a pedigree show bag, but they got rid of them before I started showing :( Having said that, there is a company now that are bringing back the car stickers for BOB etc winners!
