Dose anyone know of a place to stay for the National Dog Show in May which will take a dog and does not cost too much

you will find some here the cheapest average £45 if you scroll down they tell you whether they take dogs,  if you need to cancel you have until approx the day before on most of the hotels.

TRAVELODGE has 3 or 4 locations in and close to Stafford.  Dogs are allowed at £20 each per room.  If you book far enough in advance you can get a room rate for as little as £19 so plus the fee for the dog it is quite cheap.

How about this site. Just check facilities and pricing at the hotel and it tells you if they accept dogs or not.
