Has anyone here ever used this injection to surpress heat in there bitch ? and if so how did u find it

As long as its done very early on its ok but if left to late it doesnt , only used it once

My bitch never had a normal season again after it, ended up having to be spayed.

I have used it on one of my bitches and on her next 2 seasons developed pyometra and was spayed. Dont know if that was the reason but would never use it again.

I used it on the first day of my girls heat and it stopped it in a few days. next heat was normal, then she was mated on the following heat and had 7 lovely puppies.
however I know someone who used it routinely every 6 months on her bitch. Then stopped it when she wanted to breed her and then the bitch missed on two successive seasons. Of course it might not have been related there is no way of knowing.

I use it on my older bitch and I've not had a problem with her on it so far - almost 2 years.  She gets her injection every 5 months.
