:-o

Whoops, this evening everyone has come in and said 'yum, that smells nice, what are we having?'.  I then had to tell them that it was ox heart and lambs liver for dog treats that I was cooking!!

I did tell them they could have a try, but they all refused!

Tut, men!!!

Glad I'm not alone. I found a reduced duck and  some venison in the supermarket and when hubby was helping me unload the shopping he seemed quite pleased until I told him it was for the puppy along with the £12 jar of Manuka honey :)

Yes, hubby got quite annoyed when Ellie had pups and I was constantly buying chicken breasts and beef mince. :-) At the mo it's just the liver & garlic cake that gets cooked though, and I have to do that when he's away on business as he can't stand the smell!

Same here, it's only the treats that get cooked, they get everything else raw.

I'm even more popular with the dogs than usual though, when I'm cooking their treats :-D

My OH eats our home made liver dog treats!
mind you they are made of lambs liver cooked in the slow oven of our aga until hard, and yes they do smell
nice.
