i have spent many years searching for my best friend from school
we learnt to disco dance in the 70s along with first aid lessons...
she was there when i had my eldest son in the 80s and noone else wanted to know me!
we lost touch after i was made homeless. i found her on friends reunited and sent her a message but got no reply..
today i found out why....someone had seen a message i put on our school photo on FR...she died in 2002 of cancer leaving 2 children her brother died a week later of the same cancer that also killed their mother when they were young children.sometimes life sucks.....

Aww how terrible.  Hope her children are OK.  It's strange my brother was born 2 years before you and died at age 15, we found out years later that a few pupils in his class died very young of cancer etc.  Extremely sad.

That's awful....life really sucks sometimes x

I had a friend as well ahe was bought up by her granny as Mum (put it about a bit) being polite. She had a rough life but married at about 19 and had three lovely kids and was dead at 29 from Lukemia. It makes you wonder why? why didnt she get the luck as an adult denied to her as a kid? no idea life really can suck sometimes! I lost a brother aged 19  I was 21 its a question with no answer and it destroys your belief in life being "Fair".
