we've been forcast heavy rain all day tomorrow and im taking pup to first show in the morning.i really dont want to go and its been called off due to bad weather, ive never been before so im not sure how it all works.also if its still on how on earth can i show her at her best with blooming rain?
anyone know what would more than likely happen?

Is it an open or champ.show? All champ.shows have wet weather rings available. Most open shows this time of year are indoors as the weather isn't realiable.I've never been to an open show held before June that wasn't indoors, but maybe others know of any. It tends to be just the GSDs outside in any weather. I've never heard of a show called off due to rain.

oh lovely thank you..its just ive spent hours today fluff drying and im not going out in the rain with her lol.

which show is it, what venue? I'm sure somebody here will know the layout. :)

its the wickford and basildon open show.held at barleylands farm. :-)
that would be nice as i have no idea what to expect.i got all my bits ready for the day but shes only in one class.still want to go though....i have to start somewhere lol.im nervous as hell tho.
Hi Tamara
were going to that show tomorrow, most of it is in covered barns (well it was last time i was at the venue) If there had been any problems and the show had been cancled it would of been in the dog press or someone from the club would of contacted you.
We will be there with 2 bullmastiffs so come and have a look were in AVNSC working and find us for a chat and a coffee and if there isnt anything your worried about or dont quiet understand please feel free to ask.

At this time of year I'd expect most rings to still be inside. Even in all that filthy weather last winter most shows still went ahead - it's very unlikely to get cancelled. Have fun!

well i went along shook like i should have had some kind of attachment to me like a whisk.....lol but took a deep breath and asked a lovely lady and her hubby for help.she showed me where to go and i was fine.i still was shook up and was even more scared when they showed me the ring.
