Our 6 yr old BH was found to have an fast growing epulid two years ago. I was given the advice that having had one it was likely he would suffer again. Has anyone experience of this?

My oldest dog had one taken off at the same time as being spayed when she was 9 years old, she's 13.5 now & no sign of another one.

My mongrel has a small one which we discovered last year. It has grown slowly. My vet advised leaving it as long as it wasn't bothering him. Bramble is about 12 and in good health, but I'm not sure whether to get it removed soon while he is fit for a GA ? I'll have to talk to the vet when he is due for his boosters/annual MOT.

I had an Epulis removed on Jozi's gum, it cracked one of her front teeth and both were removed over 3 years ago, and no recurrence as yet.

I got a lettter and permission to show at the time, so have been able to check the timing.

She was 7, she is 10 1/2 now.

One of my dogs had one years ago. It never recurred.

I have had two dogs with them the first was small for a very long time then suddenly got very big and so I had it removed. The other dog got one and my vet said that as they sometimes disappear on their own to leave it for a while to see what happens. Anyway it disappeared and he has not had it recur for 5.5years.
