Dose anyone know where to get Chris Christensen grooming products without paying double when including postage
- By AnnieM [gb] Date 30.03.10 13:00 UTC
Ive had them from HUB International before, but can't rmember the postage costs. I usually wait for a champ show and get them there.

Yes I used the Ice on Ice spray and the black on black shampoo, thought they were really good on my black cocker.  You do have to watch the shampoo though as it stains your clothes and hands!!  The spray left him with a lovely shine. :)

After recommendations on this site,I use the white on white shampoo. The first bottle I got from Petcetera via post - though it was initially out of stock so I had to wait a week.Though Hub had it in stock their postage was considerably more than petcetera.I then stocked up when I went to Crufts, thus saving postage.Petcetera was out of stock so got it from HUB.

I've bought a set of the day-to-day range (shampoo, conditioner and a spray bottle for finishing touches) from HUB for my parents' golden retriever who gets very dirty on those rainy days. I don't see the dog too often as they live in another country, however, my mother says that the final results are astonishing. Definitely well worth its price, IMHO. The shipping cost didn't seem too expensive as that day I had ordered lots of doggy items from their website. ;-)

how did you use it on the dirty days, did you use it like normal shampoo and conditions as you say you also brought a spray bottle what did you use that for?

I have a dog with a white collar would the white on white make that really white as I have used some white shampoos and they haven't made that much differance

I diluted some amount of the shampoo with water (not too much), applied it on the wet coat, rinsed, added the conditioner, waited a few minutes and rinsed again. Just follow the instructions written on each bottle (if you're gonna buy a set), peppe. While brushing/drying I used the spray (it's called Ice on ice, by the way) to protect the coat from dirt. I cannot say it works well against the mud, but it does make my dog's coat shiny and nice to touch.
I don't like to use shampoos (even mildest ones) every day, neither do my parents. Usually they use it only on the belly area and the legs that pick up the most of dirt. I'll ask my mother later how she uses the spray, perhaps she doesn't use it at all.

What breed do you own, peppe? You can always buy a small bottle and try it on your dog.
Three or four years ago I used to visit a Russian dog forum and remember one quite fussy guy with a show komondor who was happy with the White on white products.
Just try it.
