Appologies this post is belated...

Today I got to thinking of past members Liberty and Michelle (Jazzywoo) who both passed away after amazing battles with cruel illness. (February 2007)
Three years ago now and yet it doesn't seem like a minute ago we  were all laughing and joking here. Two of the greatest Peacemakers this forum ever had always at hand to help or bring cheer (and bring Ribena and Tena Ladys in Libs case! :-D) Three years has not tempered how much I miss them both, nor how poorer the forum still is for their loss...

Dearest Libs and Michelle I am raising my glass of Ribena to you both, for you both taught me and always reminded me, my glass is half full and never half empty.
"Cheers" xxx
Sleep well CD Angels...
(My thoughts too to Lucy (LJS) and RobertK who had the sad tasks of informing us, but who offered such amazing support and freindship to the girls, I know this time must be soo much harder for you than us)

Its hard to believe three years have passed already.
What great posters they were it was such fun in the chatroom on a friday evening sharing ribena.
God bless to you both girls.

Three years? They were two lovely souls and the world is a poorer place without them. I still can't quite bring myself to delete Lib's email address from my contacts; it would be like removing the final trace of her. Yet how cross she'd be at such nonsense!

Time passes so quickly - and like JG, I still have the contact addresses for both Lib and Jazzywoo!

Remembering them with love - and I'll dedicate my first glass of "ribena" to them this evening!

Lots of love, ladies - hope you have control at Rainbow Bridge!

Raising a glass of 'White' to them as we speak!  What courage they both had, as HG said, CD is a sadder place without them.

I didn't really know Lib but I still have the emails that Michelle sent me which gave me great comfort at a difficult time. She was an amazing lady - giving comfort to others when she herself was so very ill and always ready with a kind word and a great soother of ruffled feathers.

Raising a glass here too for absent friends.

Two amazing ladies, sadly missed.

Two amazing women who brought a lot to CD.  I'll dedicate a glass of ribena to them both tonight.  Very brave ladies.

Three years, it seems such a long time since I last spoke to Alison.

It does seem a poorer world for Alison's and Michelle's loss, but as the glass is always half full, a better place for those of us who were touched by them, how ever briefly :)

Raising a glass to our much missed members.

It helps to remind us just how short life really is, gone but never forgotten. I think it is lovely that you do this every year.

''Cheers!'' To our absent friends!

With a tear in my eye "to absent friends" remembering you x

Ditto JG and Margot,

I had a look the other day in my address book and it is frightening. Other than Lib and Jazzywoo , there seems so many have just vanished.

I didn't know Libs or Michelle personally, but they were obviously very special people who made the world a better place to be and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew them xx

Has it been 3 years, really? I loved Libs posts from my early champdogs days, and I came to be a regular Jazzywoo junkie too...two lovely ladies.....whose contact details I cannot erase either. Strange I am not a mushy sort of person but to delete the deatils would mean they were gone whereas I can think  of them as simply offline....I'd raise a glas of ribena but don't drink I will raise a glass of milk.....have to be different.

A nice post its nice to recall old friends and reminiss with new ones.

I raised my glass last night, and gave the old toast "Here's tae us, wha's like us - damn few - and they're aw died"!
- By earl [fr] Date 29.03.10 10:50 UTC
I can't believe that's three years passed.

With a lump in my throat I'll raise a glass to absent friends and hope their families are coping as best they can.
