Hi, I would really like my Great Dane puppy to do modelling for tv, adverts etc.... does anyone have any ideas of how to go about getting into this??? Thanks

Petlondon models are probably the most well known in the UK...good luck :)

Try some of the dog magazines as well, I think I remember Dogs Today saying something about if people get pups etc to contact them as they have a studio in Slough they use....Could be worth a go :)

You don't actually get paid for this, had my dogs in the magazine when they did an article on my breed. I did get a disc of all the photos sent to me which was nice .The pictures have then been used in another publication, again no payment.

you know payment didn't cross my mind when I suggested Dogs Today whoops! Guess that would be part of the modeling business!

a disc worth several hundred pounds......what more payment did you want??

Well I wouldn't have put it like that. The pictures aren't of any use to me as I don't have permission to use them myself and they're untouched so not like the ones used in the articles ( they still have the leads showing on them etc). They are a nice reminder of the day. I was only pointing out that you don't get paid by this magazine. I presumed that the OP was talking about paid modeling work.
